Procurement Department Employee / Buyer ON SITE

We are looking for a Buyer who will actively participate in and manage our purchasing strategies to optimize our supply chain and meet our company’s needs.

The Role:

As a Buyer, you will be crucial in shaping our supply chain strategies. Your expertise will help us maintain efficient and cost-effective procurement processes, ensuring that we continue to meet and exceed our performance standards and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities You’ll Own:

• Manage existing collaborations with domestic and international suppliers, including making purchases.
• Perform market research to search for suppliers and establish new collaborations.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
• Create a purchasing and delivery plan for each supplier based on budget and stock availability.
• Manage the complete lifecycle of purchase orders from creation to closure.
• Coordinate and ensure timely delivery of orders, monitoring supplier delivery times for optimization.
• Monitoring transportation up to and including receiving, recording of receiving in the ERP, and updating the warehouse.
• Investigate new packaging solutions, materials, processes, and developments.
• Communicate, cooperate, and coordinate actions with other involved parties such as customs brokers and carriers.
• Monitor and report on supply costs with a focus on optimization, and conduct statistical analyses to evaluate and enhance supply chain processes.

Required Qualifications:

• • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management Operations.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a procurement department with similar responsibilities
  • Solid business understanding and/or experience from the packaging industry (especially materials knowledge and process/procurement understanding) are definite advantages.
  • Use of ERP (Entersoft optional)
  • Proficiency in commercial correspondence
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Excellent knowledge of English
  • Excellent communication skills and abilities in organization and negotiation
